Photosynthesis II

Releasing Energy shows the burning of coal, the first step in producing electrical power. Coal is made of fossilized plants, and when coal burns, the sun’s energy that was stored by these ancient plants is released. Today, more than 50% of our electricity is generated by coal-burning power plants.
