Ph.D. Professor of Biology, Indiana University. A plant physiologist, Roger conducts research on the physiological and molecular mechanisms by which plants sense and respond to environmental stimuli. He has published more than 60 research articles, served on the editorial boards of several research journals, and was elected president of the American Society of Plant Biologists. Dennis DeHart,
M.F.A. Assistant Professor of Photography and Digital Imaging, Buffalo State, State University of New York. Dennis is an artist who creates work that explores the connections and conflicts of the natural and cultural worlds. His art has been exhibited across the United States and internationally, including at the recent Pingyao International Photo Festival. He has received numerous grants and awards, including two simultaneous grants from the Arizona Commission on the Arts (2005). Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Music and Assistant Director, Center for Electronic and Computer Music, Indiana University. John’s acoustic and electroacoustic music has been presented in the United States, Europe, South America, and Asia, and has received recognition from the Guggenheim Foundation, the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the International Institute of Electroacoustic Music. His recordings have been released on the Centaur label. John also develops music synthesis and processing software.
