The Star lily is a commonly available cut flower that offers superb, long lasting blooms. The movies shown here follows one cut branch in a container of water for 8 days. Once the first flower opened, the others followed about or two days apart. Note that by the time the movie ends, the first flower to have opened has started to senesce, as seen by the fading colors.
